Broccoli cole slaw

This is one of my new favorite salads, so good and so healthy!  Very crunchy, fresh, and quick to make.
You can find broccolli cole slaw in the salad section of your grocery store.

Serves my family- 2 adults and 5 children

1 Bag Ramen noodle soup (doesn't matter what kind)
1 TBSP grapeseed oil
1/4 Cup slivered almonds
1 Bag (13 oz) Broccoli cole slaw
Chopped green onions for garnish

Dressing:
6 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
2 TBSP honey or guava nectar
2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
a dash of Onion powder, ginger, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt to taste

Crush the ramen noodles in a bag and discard the seasoning packet(won't be using it, we don't need MSG).  Heat up the grapeseed oil in a pan and add ramen noodles and slivered almonds.  Cook until toasted.

Whisk together the dressing ingredients and poor over a bowl of Broccoli slaw.

Before serving, pour the ramen/almond mixture over salad and mix well.  Garnish with chopped green onions.

Kids love it, it has the taste and texture of that well known ramen, cabbage, chicken salad, but it's better for you.
